After attending at the Culinary Institute of America, Martin trained under Chef Stan Michalski and Chef Christopher Lemerand, whose mentorship helped shape his disciplined approach and deep respect for the art of cooking.

Martin plays a vital role in menu development, execution, and day-to-day leadership, guiding our team with a focus on precision, seasonality, and consistency. His culinary philosophy blends innovation with tradition, resulting in dishes that reflect both technical mastery and genuine curiosity.

Outside the kitchen, Martin channels his same attention to detail and drive for performance into his personal passions—maintaining aquariums and working on his car to take to the track . These pursuits mirror the balance, patience, and precision that define his work at Chez TJ.
