Chez TJ is an upscale contemporary French cuisine restaurant uniquely located in one of the most historic and charming Victorian homes in downtown Mountain View, CA.  For over four decades, we’ve welcomed guests with refined, seasonal tasting menus and warm hospitality. As one of the first Bay Area fine dining restaurants to earn a Michelin star, we’re proud of our legacy—and committed to creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.  Our farm-to-table menu celebrates creativity and seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully crafted to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free preferences.

Our daily tasting menu, personally tailored by our executive Chef Stan Michalski, is inspired by seasonal produce and features a unique approach to contemporary French cuisine. Part of what makes Chez TJ special, aside from our talented culinary team, is the small and intimate atmosphere, which allows our staff to give each guest a personal, high-quality dining experience.

With advance notice, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions, and we take pride in our vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan menus.
