Special Winemaker's Event
Chez TJ Restaurant & "Cap'n Crunch" inventor turned Winemaker, team up for a special winemaker's dinner event in Mountain View, CA.
Chaim Gur-Arieh, the owner and winemaker from C.G. Di Arie Winery will team up with Executive Chef Jarad Gallagher to host a private wine and food pairing event for a select group of people at Chez TJ Restaurant. Chaim will share his extensive background in product development, discuss the art of winemaking and his world-class wine offerings.
Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. $125 per person. Reservations required.
Chez TJ’s 30-year Anniversary
This year we celebrate Chez TJ’s 30-year anniversary of providing exquisite, French contemporary cuisine for our special guests, in a grand and elegant ambiance. Chez TJ restaurant is located in a historic edifice (circa 1894) in downtown Mountain View. Our New England-like atmosphere was originally home to Julius and Fanny Weilheimer; a businessman and town council member. George Aviet and Thomas J who served their first dinner on November 26th, 1982 later acquired the property.
Today, George Aviet continues to be the mastermind behind Chez TJ’s success. We continue to focus on great service, a beautiful ambiance, extraordinary wines and a unique tasting menu of small dishes that are so delicious, unforgettable and most satisfying to the palate.
During the month of April we’re offering our guests a complementary Kir Royal to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Come join us for any special occasion, birthday, anniversary and/or business dinner.
