Chef Bruno Chemel and Staff Earn First Michelin Star!
We are pleased to annouce Chez TJ's staff in their inaugeral year at the restaurant have earned their first Star in the 2009 San Francisco Michelin Guide book. We are proud of this accomplishment and are grateful to all those who made it possible, especially our patrons. Thank you!

We would like to acknowledge the talent and hard work of our volunteer gardener and dear friend, Louise Christy. Louise has been involved with redesigning and rejuvenating Chez TJ's herb garden this year producing all types of lovely vegetables, fruits, herbs, and garnishes for the restaurant. Be sure to peer over the railing or better yet ask one of our servers for a tour next time you are in!

Introducing Much-Acclaimed Chef Bruno Chemel

We are excited to announce the arrival of Chez TJ's new Chef: Bruno Chemel. The French born Chemel began his career in Digoin, France with the same mentor as Chez TJ's late co-founder, Chef Tom J. McCombie. Chef Chemel has extensive experience in Contemporary French Cusine and has earned numerous stars and critcal acclaim world-wide for his cuisine. Chef Chemel will begin his Menu Gastronomique the week of February 12 through 16 and then work in his new Chef's Tasting Menu beginning February 19.
